Awards

To create a new Award, click on Add Award and fill out the following fields:

Select School:

You can scroll or start typing the name of the school or its’ CDS Code to look for the right school and select it.

Component Type:

Select if the Award is for Before School (6-8am Programs) or After School (3-6pm Programs)

DOO Type:

If the Fund you’re creating an Award for is a Restricted Fund, you need to select if the Award pays for CORE Days (Regular School Year) vs. SUPP Days (Supplemental or Summer Days)

Award Amount:

State Rate:

Minimum Attendance Before Rollover:

Clicking an Award will take you Award Performance Page where you could see all the details you need to track the performance of your award.

Please note that most performance numbers will be unavailable (N/A) until there are Students Attendance added to the system.

Clicking on Details tab will take you to another page where you will see Award's different attributes like:

To update different attributes of an Award you can click on “Update Award” link on the top right.

Sometimes Awards change depending on multiple factors and this is the section users can update the amounts for the upcoming Fiscal Year.

Each award is assigned to an Agency to be fulfilled in the given location or school. You need to assign a new award to an agency.

Notes

If the selected agency is an External Agency, you will be asked to enter a Contract Rate for this specific Award. The field will be pre-filled with the default rate given to the agency which you can accept as is or change for this Award only.
The new agency assigned will be the providing agency effective immediately.
